SMALL TALK
Wonderful things can come in small packages!
For this upcoming exhibition, we are shining a spotlight on small wonders! All works are under 14in by 14in (including frame), showing the viewer exactly how much an artist can pack into a small work. Small works are a perfect way to start your fine art collection, fill a small or awkward wall space, or add a touch of style to a small table or shelf!
EXHIBIT SCHEDULE
August 22nd - Submissions open for entries
November 6th - Submission period closes
November 9th - Jurying of entries by Re.Imagine staff
November 10th - Acceptance emails sent
November 13th through 16th - Delivery of pieces to Re.Imagine
November 22nd - Opening Reception of exhibit
February 5th - Closing of exhibit
APPLYING FOR THE EXHIBIT
The theme for this exhibit is SMALL WORKS! We encourage artists to shrink their creative view and enter works that fit into a 14in by 14in space (including frame). You can enter up to three works, and you are free to replace any sold entries with further works of a similar nature. Even small works can have a big impact, so focus on colorful and conversation-starting pieces!
Paintings, mixed media, jewelry, sculptures, and assemblages are all eligible for this show. If you would like to submit an unconventional piece that may need a specialized display, we recommend emailing images and dimensions to reimagine.office@gmail.com before paying an entry fee. Click on the image below to learn about entry specifications, and pay the entry fee.
$35 - You may enter up to three pieces for this exhibit. If pieces sell over the course of the show, you will be able to replace them with pieces of a similar nature.
Upon payment of entry fee, the complete prospectus, entry form, and art labels will be emailed to you. Please ensure you enter a with a functional email address at checkout. DELIVERY OF PROSPECTUS MAY TAKE UP TO TWO BUSINESS DAYS.
Entry form must be delivered by NOV 6th, either in person or to reimagine.office@gmail.com. Images of work must be delivered via email.
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
All pieces intended for wall display must be properly presented and ready to hang. No sawtooth hangers or improperly placed eyehooks. Wires must be sturdy and secure and placed so as to not be visible above the work. Wires must be strung tightly in order to be suitable for the wired hanging system. Pieces are limited in size to 14in by 14in (including frame). Sculptural pieces must be able to sit on a pedestal 12x12in size. If your piece requires additional or non-traditional displays, please contact reimagine.office@gmail.com before paying an entry fee.
No reproductions (Giclee, prints, etc) will be permitted. All work must be an original creation of the submitting artist.
SALES OF ARTWORK FEATURED IN SHOW
Re.Imagine will process all sales and retain a 35% commission. Re.Imagine will collect and remit all sales tax and handle any shipping arrangements needed. Payment to the artist will be made within a month of the sale.
